Event Information
The EventHosted at the lovely Hororata equestrian domain. This base has amenities which is a real treat and is located centrally in Canterbury. The track will incorporate a mixture of road riding, paper roads and lane ways. At this time of year this venue provides us with as much of a mixture of tracks as possible when most farms are busy with young stock. It will be suitable for barefoot horses if the horse is used to being barefoot.
There will be an extra $5.00 added per horse to the ride fee to cover the ground hire.
The event officially opens at 12pm on Friday 1st October and will close on Sunday 2nd October at 5pm. Camping is available from 12pm on Friday 1st October. If you wish to camp on Sunday night, just pop us through an email so we can organise that for you. Toilets and water will be available.
RegistrationRide registration is now closed Late ride registration is open until 7pm, 29 September 2021 with a late fee of $10.00. This is required to be paid online before your registration is confirmed. Please click on the button below to access the registration form.
Correct payment for the registration must be made online before the event. Once you have registered and paid online, you will receive confirmation of your registration with ride details. Only confirmed registered riders will be permitted to participate in the event. Proof of ESNZ Registration may need to be shown to the Day Secretary. This covers your insurance while participating in this event. If you are an ESNZ Introductory Member and your horse is not ESNZ registered, you can still enter an Endurance Intermediate, Endurance Novice, CTR Intermediate or CTR Junior ride, but you will need to pay an ESNZ $10.00 Flexi Start Fee. If you are not a current ESNZ member you will need to pay an ESNZ $15.00 Casual Fee to cover your insurance for this event. If there are any changes you will be notified as soon as possible. Ride Brief The ride brief will be posted the week of the Event and this will provide more details regarding logistics, the track, rider start times for CTR and rules of the road. COVID We will be in COVID level 2 lock down. The ride brief will provide details on what the level 2 restrictions will be. We look forward to seeing you all at our first event of the season!
