Mt Torlesse

Saturday 11th - Sunday 12th December 2021 Address - Midland Road, Springfield
Event Information
The EventMt Torlesse is CETRC’s most iconic event, often used for our Championship events and always one of the most popular events on the NZ Endurance and CTR Calendar. With virtually no road, just the couple surrounding base, this track has amazing views and super footing for shod, booted or barefoot horses. Some areas may be a little rougher, however, if your horse is used to being barefoot this should be fine.
The event officially opens at 12.30pm on Friday 10 December and will close on Sunday 12 December at 5pm. Camping is available from 12.30pm on Friday 10 December. If you wish to camp on Sunday night, just pop us through an email so we can organise that for you. Toilets and water will be available.
RegistrationRide registration is now closed as both days are full due to COVID restrictions. No late entries will be accepted so please get your entries in and if you are unable to attend notify us before the event and we will fully refund you.
Correct payment for the registration must be made online before the event. Once you have registered and paid online, you will receive confirmation of your registration with ride details.
Only confirmed registered riders will be permitted to participate in the event.
Proof of ESNZ Registration may need to be shown to the Day Secretary. This covers your insurance while participating in this event. If you are an ESNZ Introductory Member and your horse is not ESNZ registered, you can still enter an Endurance Intermediate, Endurance Novice, CTR Intermediate or CTR Junior ride, but you will need to pay an ESNZ $10.00 Flexi Start Fee.
If you are not a current ESNZ member you will need to pay an ESNZ $15.00 Casual Fee to cover your insurance for this event.
If you are a CETRC Member you will receive a $5.00 discount off the ride fee. COVID procedures will be posted with the ride brief to ensure we are up to date with ESNZ and government requirements. Please be aware that the COVID traffic light system is due to be implemented on the 29th November so once we know which colour we will be for Canterbury we will advise what our COVID procedures will be for this ride.
